This year’s Ask Your Pharmacist Week kicks off today (November 3) with a drop-in event for MPs in Westminster, marking the start of the UK-wide campaign to raise public awareness of community pharmacy services.

This year’s theme – ‘Ask Your Pharmacist: NHS services close to home’ – highlights the expanding role of community pharmacies in delivering accessible NHS and private healthcare services.

NPA chief executive Henry Gregg said the campaign aims to “complement NHS public awareness initiatives” and “lay the groundwork for the future development of clinical services in community pharmacy.”

He urged pharmacy teams and supporters to get involved: “We are encouraging NPA members and all those who support community pharmacy to take part.”
